Battleship: Armada! is a Battleship game created in RPG Maker MV that includes local multiplayer as well as online multiplayer modes.

The ships (Carrier, Battleship, Cruiser, Submarine, and Patrol Boat) have special abilities that make for a more strategic game than a typical table-top battleship game.

Online Mode

There is no login system and no matchmaking. Simply choose a (temporary) screen name and create a lobby. A friend can search for your screen name or lobby, and then join.

The host may alter the amount of ships that the players will play with, and then start the game when both players are ready.

Controls:

All controls use a mouse or touch.

Nice. :) Well done.
This might be hard, but maybe you could make an AI to play against?

Anyhow, that you have a multiplayer online with MV, is pretty cool.

Yeah this was mostly just to explore the possibilities of online play, to learn how to set up a game server, and to learn python. I was actually thinking of implementing AI for single player, and it wouldn't be hard except the special abilities makes it more difficult.

But I still may do it one day :)

Hi aloe!! Great game man! I have a lot of fun playing with my brothers!
Love Naval Battle!!

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
